Q? I have a Club Pass, that means I'll get right in, right?
A VIP pass may promise no line and no cover, but this is highly misleading. VIP passes are a good tool for club promoters to get people in the door on slower nights. On peak nights the hot clubs don't need any help getting people in the door, and your Club pass is virtually worthless. You'll still be waiting in line and fighting the crowds. If you don't have VIP hosting the only real club pass is a couple of Benjamins, and you still have to fight to get the doorman's attention. If you doubt this, call any hot club and ask if a Club Pass will get you pass the line on a Friday or Saturday night.
